Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph- Ontario, Guelph

Go Girls and Game On are programs that reach out to 256 youth ages 10-14 in the Guelph ON community. The programs target kids who come from single parent homes, live below the poverty line and/or have limited exposure to extra-curricular activities. The programs run once a week for seven weeks and 32 different groups will participate this school year. The main components of the programs touch on active living, balanced eating and feel good activities. Ultimately, these programs are designed to give kids the tools they need to implement a healthier and happier lifestyle.

This grant was made possible by the fundraising efforts of the Members and Associates of GoodLife Fitness Guelph Pergola Commons.
