Big Brothers Big Sisters, Ontario- Woodstock & District

Woodstock Quality Inn GoodLife Fitness Club’s commitment to fundraise for GoodLife Kids Foundation during the 2010 Be A Kid’s Superhero Campaign is being recognized with a grant to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Woodstock & District for Game On!

Game On! is a mentoring-based program designed to provide boys ages 12-14 with information and support to make informed choices about a range of healthy lifestyle practices including physical activity, balanced eating and feeling good.

Over the 7 week period boys try different types of physical activity, have healthy snacks, talk about nutrition and experience a variety of recreational activities available in the City of Woodstock & District. Sessions will encourage learning, personal growth, as well as relationship-building between participants and mentors.

GoodLife Kids Foundation’s support for Game On! will ensure more boys have the opportunity to benefit from an active life while developing and building positive relationships with mentors.
