Cerebral Palsy Association of BC, British Columbia- Vancouver

GoodLife Kids Foundation is supporting Cerebral Palsy Association of BC’s Dance Without Limits Program in Vancouver.

Dance Without Limits is a modified dance program that enables children with cerebral palsy to challenge themselves in their mobility and movement, while allowing them to participate in a group setting and enjoy artistic expressions by dancing in their own unique way.

Children with disabilities often experience social isolation as a result of physical or financial barriers. This can lead to low self-esteem, as well as a lack of full participation in greater society, and inability to fulfill their full potential. Programs like dance without limits have been shown to increase self-esteem and self-determination, in addition to providing overall benefits of health and wellbeing.
