Down Syndrome Association of Peterborough- Ontario

GoodLife Kids Foundation is supporting Down Syndrome Association of Peterborough’s Zumba for Kids program. Zumba for Kids will target children ages 4-14 who have down syndrome. The program will teach participants how to lead active lives, body coordination and help them create healthy friendships while they explore the world of dance and fitness. The class will also reinforce social skills, discipline, respect and leadership skills in a fun but structured way. Zumba for Kids will run every other week and include 25 students per session. The funds from GoodLife Kids Foundation will be used to offer this program for the first time for children with down syndrome in Peterborough.
