Ecole Valois- Saskatchewan, Prince Albert

La vie active a Valois is a program that reaches 170 students, grades 1-12 in Prince Albert SK. École Valois is located in a low income neighborhood with a large number of immigrant families and First Nations population. Students also come from around the city so they can attend a French as a first language school. The enhanced physical education program will aim to educate the students on making the right decisions in regards to health and wellness by participating in as many different activities as possible. French speaking presenters will also be brought in and trips to different facilities in the city will be arranged. These initiatives will ensure the students understand the benefits of being physically active.

This grant was made possible by the fundraising efforts of Members and Associates of GoodLife Fitness Prince Albert South Hill Mall.
