Manitoba Wheelchair Sport Association - Manitoba, Winnipeg

GoodLife Kids Foundation is supporting Adaptive, Active and Able, an introductory adaptive sport program offered by Manitoba Wheelchair Sport Association. Children and youth ages 7-18 in Winnipeg, MB will have the chance to take part in a variety of wheelchair sports during clinics offered twice weekly throughout the year. Wheelchair basketball, rugby, and tennis will provide an outlet for physical activity while participants also benefit from mentorship and social development as they interact with coaches and peers. Adaptive, Active and Able is designed to give participants the ability to experience a wide range of sport and recreation opportunities after which they can choose to join more structured clubs and leagues offered throughout the province.
