Murray Centennial Public School, Ontario- Trenton

GoodLife Kids Foundation is supporting Murray Centennial Public School’s Murray Bears Jump Club.

The Murray Bears Jump Club is a new initiative for Murray Centennial School in Trenton ON.  As drop-in based jump rope club, it runs after school once a week and is open to all students in grades K - 8. Parent and staff volunteers will work with participants to develop skills, give support and empower students to leadership so the club with eventually become student-led.

Above all else, the program will help get students to get more active and be part of a team without the need to be an athlete.

For younger children, keep practices short and use stories and familiar animals or objects as cues for them to mimic with their poses.
