Nutrition Ignition, Ontario- London

Nutrition Ignition.jpgStudents and staff at St. Robert Catholic School are helping researchers find better ways to fight childhood obesity through Nutrition Ignition. Students from grades 1 to 8 will receive lessons from undergraduate students in kinesiology and nutrition that complement the health curriculum.  Lessons learned are reinforced by activities such as: snack challenges, physical activities; fitness hour, “turn off the screens week”. Newsletters, a health fair and a family take home challenge also help to involve parents and families.

GoodLife Kids Foundation and St. Roberts School are excited to partner for an additional year with this initiative. They also welcome St. Anne's School as a second location doe this progeam.
