Peterborough Green-Up Association, Ontario- Peterborough

GoodLife Kids Foundation is supporting the Peterborough Green-Up Association’s Pedal Power program.

Pedal Power provides in-school cycling skills development for students in grades 3 to 9.  The program is offered at school during class time.  All students take part in the Pedal Power 5 lesson cycling skill and safety course.  Students in grades 5 to 9 also participate in school-wide Bicycle Rodeos.  Students will learn to consider cycling as a means of transportation and recreation, and develop positive attitudes about cycling. It is anticipated that 1,000 students will take part in Pedal Power in Spring 2014.
