The Sport Sampler Program addresses the need to get children ages 6 – 11 active.  As a ‘sampler’ program children are exposed to a variety of activities without the need for them to sign up for a full 8 – 10 week course.  The program will be offered during the after school program period and therefore does not require extra costs, particularly for those who may not be able to afford it.   During a 6 week period, over 50 children will be introduced to multiple sports and activities they may not otherwise have the opportunity to try.

Activities offered are yoga, soccer, tennis, taekwondo, dance and SNAG golf. The outcome of the program will encourage children to continue in one or more of these activities long term.
