Status 4 Inc., Manitoba- Winnipeg

GoodLife Kids Foundation is supporting Status4 Tae Kwon Do After School program.

Status4 provides art-based educational programming with a leadership and resiliency skill development focus to at-risk and under-served youth in the Elmwood/Chalmers community in Winnipeg Manitoba.  Tae Kwon Do is a martial arts practice involving physical stances and movement techniques compiled in a variety of patterns to teach self-defense, mind-body strength and connection. The Tae Kwon Do Program is a non-competitive training class which will teach participants mental and physical discipline, respect for self and others, courtesy and gratitude. This program will be offered for two age groups, 8 & under and 9-17 twice each week.

This grant was made possible by the fundraising efforts of the GoodLife Fitness Winnipeg Kenaston members and associates during the 2013 fundraising campaign.
