Transfiguration of Our Lord Catholic School, Ontario- Etobicoke

With a school population that has limited access to organized sport and population, a parent survey indicated that a physical activity program during the lunch hour was the number one need for the school.  The GoodLife Tiger Games is a Sporting Bonanza offering students an intramural program during this timeframe.  The lunch hour program will provide all students the opportunity to participate in a team format and earn points for their team by playing soccer, basketball, volleyball, or floor hockey.

The school will also be creating a sports equipment sign-out library where students can sign-out/ access the equipment to play the sports that are not being highlighted during that period at lunchtime.

This grant was made possible by the fundraising efforts of Etobicoke Kings Mill GoodLife Fitness staff and members during the 2014 fundraising campaign.
