GoodLife Kids Foundation is supporting University of Calgary’s Adapted Physical Activity for Kids program. The program is for children with special needs ages 4-14 and it’s targeted to improve physical health. It also assists with improving behavior, independence, and overall well-being within the participants. The kids will take part in 90 minutes of activity per week. Some activities are exercise specific, like yoga, others are sport based and some focus on movement and coordination. The program offers the children a chance to learn a variety of activities and explore what they can do and open opportunity to finding new activities they may not have otherwise experienced.
